A Huntsville native, Alicia began her professional journey as an English teacher. She worked at multiple schools, including Williams Technology Middle School, Virgil I. Grissom High School, Faulkner University, and Buckhorn High School. Toward the latter part of her teaching career, she pursued a Juris Doctor degree at Birmingham School of Law and graduated in the top five percent of her class.

During law school, Alicia distinguished herself as a member of the Judge Hugh Locke Honor Society and a co-editor of its newsletter. She made the Dean’s list four semesters and received multiple awards for her academic performance and legal writing skills.

Transitioning from teaching to law, Alicia has remained passionate about helping others. While her kindness is evident, she is intense and tenacious in her pursuit of justice. Her practice areas include personal injury, premises liability, wrongful death, motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, and insurance claim disputes.

Alicia has variety of interests, including reading, traveling, Pilates, cycling, and inline skating. She also enjoys fly fishing with her husband Ray. Alicia is a longstanding member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Huntsville.
